I'm a dreamer with a creative outlook on life. I love dogs, weirdos, buffoonery and I'm curious of the strange. Humor gives me perspective and it shows in my dog art.
In my home studio I'm free to create pottery pieces "gone bad," sharing the peculiar places a visual mind can lead, with a bit of traditional work. Professionally, I've enjoyed a long career as a graphic designer. I currently work as an art director in the publishing industry.
I also love to paint, before dedicating my time to clay I spent many years at the easel creating dog portraits on canvas. See a few of the happy faces in my gallery.
The spirit in which I founded Square Dog Pottery comes from my work as a foster mom to rescued dogs, the compassion of my fellow volunteers, and the hope it gives for mankind, and his best friend.
